| Stewardship, by its very definition, means work. It means
getting out of the armchair and sweating a bit. It involves intentional actions and
constant vigilance. It's a high calling. Are you up to it? |

Our desire at Creation Speaks is:
To equip people with tools for more vibrant living. Through lectures, shared outdoor
experiences, direct actions, and study programs we hope to encourage others to engage in
the care for God's creation as well as for their fellow man, and we want to inspire others
to live intentionally for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ. |
In Genesis - the beginning -
God poured out His creative genius into a vast expanse of
chaotic, suspended matter. He worked and created for six days to make things just the way
He wanted them to be, so that they would bespeak His majesty and bring honor and glory to
Him.
By the time He was finished and ready to rest He had created
the skies with all their heavenly wonders and a vast expanse of space all around them. At
the center of this space was a special gem: Earth. And on the earth He placed His crown
jewel: Man
Man has come a long way from Eden, but some things have not
changed; we still need God and He still loves us.
We invite you to join us in exploring where we fit within this
vast universe. What role do we play in nature? What can we learn about our Creator by
experiencing His creation?
We invite you - to the heart of the Creator... |

stewardship [stü-erd-ship] (noun):
the careful and responsible management of something entrusted
to one's care
Check out our new veggie car! In March we purchased a
VW Jetta TDI that was converted to run on used fryer oil (a.k.a. "Waste Vegetable Oil" or "WVO") It needed a lot of TLC, so
after spending quite a bit of time in the shop we have it on the road again! It looks like we have found a friendly business who is willing to give us their oil: Town and Country Market & Deli on Redwood Avenue in Grants Pass. Pure canola, baby!
Cars that
burn WVO rather than gas or diesel generally emit cleaner exhaust, get the same mileage,
and burn up a waste material (restaurant biproduct) rather than taking fuel straight from
the common marketplace. We hope that this car will help us make a statement about
consumer waste, economy, and creative problem solving. |
